Virginia Dare Shores is a large subdivision on the west side of RT 158 in Kill Devil Hills. The area is mostly used a second homes and a few year round residents. Virginia Dare Shore has no amenities other than a couple of beach and bay accesses and is located just south of Moor Shores and north of Avalon Beach.
